you dont NEED to, but most people do because it comes with some nice armor, and a few more little perks :D

P.S. Do you guys ever farm with your lv 1s?... I have heard about it before, but I have never tried it or seen any lv 1 farmers before.

Uhh, isn't it kinda simple at lvl 1 pvp if your a bird? Just use a worn bow and kite those bears and mages... :)

On another note, is thier such thing as lvl1dex gear? I mean i was farming for half an hour on my lvl1bird and only got lvl1 str/int stuff -.- then i got a dex item but it turns out it was a lvl10 helm!?!?! Are u kidding me! Im just gunna try and farm on my mage c if thiers any good dex drops thier.
Wait, do we even need to farm gear? I bought a bow at forest haven... Way better then worn bow lol

For whatever class you are you have to get 5 platinum to atleast get a decent weapon and 30 (or 45) platinum to get decent armor for level 1. However, the stuff you farm is only slightly worst than the platinum items. I'll add you and we can farm together :)

The best gear is that obtained from purchasing a premium character. The only thing you have to worry about is a weapon. Birds should use the level 1 bling flinger crossbow, bears can choose between the 2h hammer, sword, or the fiery axe and a power suffix shield, and if I remember correctly mages should just stick with the darkbolt staff. I think it has comparable damage to the lightning staff in the store, and has the weakness proc to boot. All of the these weapons can be found in the plat store


I've seen people assert that birds and mages would have a very easy time winning in pvp...and i'd just like to clarify that it's not the case. Yes, you can kite bears, but you aren't able to kill them before you eventually hit a wall or some other barrier which allows them to close the distance on you. bears do a LOT more damage at level one then the other two classes, and their premium armor makes them a lot more durable.

Correct, but you have to farm the Power Shield, if anybody needs one just send me a message I got 100s of them lol

The best you can do without Platinum is a warrior with a Power Set...there should be more variety even if it is just level one...

Don't you mean Flaming Axe? It's so much better than the hammer...
