View Full Version : unable to watch videos for free plat

Several people in chat experienced this same problem but I didn't see a thread so just wanted to make the devs aware.
I'm on an iphone 3gs.
I click earn free platinum then watch videos. I get a message that says the "video is currently loading or you have reached your maximum number of views today".
I haven't watched any videos and this is the first time I've tried.

Im having the exact same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S2. Tried reinstalling the app but it didnt help.

story of my life... supposedly I should have been able to get 1 plat yesterday, but there was no watch videos button. Today there's a button but it says I already watched it.
Same here. Htc thunderbolt.

Watever its 1 plat a day.just go to other offer/download other app and theres like 3 come back to tapjoy buttons a day and like 3-5 earn free pla for doing nothing a day. I started 0 plat yesterday and in 30min of free plat/playing at the same time i made enough for bigger luck :D

I didn't install the tapjoy account if it helps.

I can't either. Im on iOS iPod Touch 4G, and I have only watched one video, and that was on client release, and I get a symbol to say there is one available, but I get the message you guys get. I have only watched 1, can't watch anymore.
But, with every new client, new bugs arise.

I WAS once able to watch videos on my ipad. Now I get the currently loading or max views today message.
Got 1 plat on 3/13, 1 plat on 3/14, 1 plat on 3/15. Now cannot watch videos on ipad1...
Hmm, so you could on your iPad, so why couldn't I on my iPod Tiuch? There may be a rumour that United Kingdom wasn't supposed to get that update, perhaps that is why.
Still can't watch from my Thunderbolt.

Also Tapjoy offer hardly ever work like they should the ones that do usally are ones that offer alot of plat and req. paying something if i wanted to pay for plat. i would just buy it in the game directly :disgust:

I still am not able to watch videos. I am on an older droid and I get the message that it is currently downloading or has reached limit. I have not been able to watch any and have tried each day since it was released. I have tried at both the beginning and the end of a play session. No luck, and now I can't get bigger luck.
It would be nice if someone could relieve the suspense and let us know why so many are seeing this.

While it's a nice thing to be able to earn free plat by watching a video, it's not so nice to say its a way to earn free plat but it doesn't actually work. What is the repair status on this?

Sorry if you feel ignored. We're aware of the issues with the recently implemented video ads. While some of the blame lies with the partner we chose to implement video ads in game with, much of it also rests with us at Spacetime Studios for not finding a better partner that could serve a larger portion of our users needs. Given the uncorrected issues with video ads, it's likely that they will be removed in a future update. We will continue to look for better options to give to users who wish to spend their free time doing offers for free Platinum.
