I recently made a L18 bird and i cant seem to find a good balance between dps and def. Maybe leaning more of dps?

I currently have as a build...
L10 JT helm (plat dex)
L15 purple toyman
L15 blacksmith
L18 green iron rock shield (could be better..ik)
L10 dex ring (8 dmg, 2hit%)
---------
6 evade, 5 blast, 2 focus, 2 break (not great), 1 shattering, 1 root.

If anyone is decent at L18 birds, please help :/

Hi you may not trust my credibility but i am sure i have some, i dont think you should split dps and def, go all dps or all def, I'd suggest going snow launcher, haven't logged on in quite a bit so not sure what the prices are but if you dont want to go kite dps, toy man id suggest 3 focus, 6 evade, 1 shattering, 1 root, 2 blast, 4 break.

Also not quite remembering if birds get blinding shot at 18 or not maybe maybe not but if you do, then max blind and max evade and just kite around.

u should get 6 focus and 6 evasion if u want to pwn. Buff is a major difference in low lvl pvp. without it, well u die

Lower level is not the same as higher levels. Buffs are needed but not always at max.

My old warbird build is 6 focus for crit, 1 break, 1root, 1 shattering, 4blast, 4 evade. I was using a board and nail so idk how it works for toy man.

I'd go lvl 15 armeson for dodge. Also crit is important with toyman, it's the difference between hitting a 30-60 to a 120-150

I would switch to full dex. If you will put in the money lvl 15 expert leather and a lvl 15 snowball launcher (pink or purple) and for skill placement get 5 for evasion and focus then 2 for both blast and shattering scream.last skilll shud go to root thorn. Combo is buffs,root,cruel blast. A pink lvl 17 plarinum talon and a lvl 15 pink or purple peppermint wing is also a good alternative. (the skill build might not be too good)

I think dodge bird is goo at lvl 18 you should use armsman and maybe gingerbread lvl 15? Armour and dps

3 focus
6 evade
1 shat
1 root
1 repulse
3 break
4 blast.

in your case, I'd go 4 blast, 3 focus and 1 break, putting the last skill point in repulse for kiting advantages.

armsman not only adds more damage and h/s, but provides a generous 6% dodge as well. I'd also use a JT/sniper's avian wing lvl 10 instead of green ironrock. The crit and hit% bonuses will help and provide a bit of regen. If you're truly looking for more damage, go with a lvl 5 armsman instead of 15, and put more points into dex. Penguin face and Acrobat's Fine platinum band help with dodge and damage as well.
