It's time to descend into the Abyssal Depths to hunt the ancient Mogera Cave Spider! This week in Arcane Legends, start your adventure by speaking with Kyelah in Vardan Valley Towne (near the Mogera hole) or in Windmoore.

The ancient spider only emerges once a year, and with her comes the rare opportunity to collect abyssal ore. Kyelah will escort you and/or your party into the spider's lair.

This event is open to solo characters and parties of all levels!

Defeat the spider Noctarach along with several of her smaller minions (mini-bosses) along the way to collect several types of abyssal ore, along with some new Legendary abyssal spider weapons for each class. Abyssal spider weapons have a chance to proc a cave spider web that will reduce your target's speed and damage by 30% for up to 3 seconds!

But don't forget, once collected, abyssal ore is extremely unstable and will only survive so long above ground. It must be crafted into a Radiant Dynamo Case if you have any hope of keeping a memento of your harrowing battle.

The Dynamo Case recipe along with any abyssal ore in your inventory will only last as long as the event, so don't wait! The reason why I requested to make it mythic (and so to adjust its raw stats) is because of its use.

Actually the only reason why players use different weapons other than endgame arcane 76 its to stack different procs (and the reducing target s damage proc can be really nice, particularly like in this dragkin event).

But if the stats weapon is definitely too weak it risks to be unused.

Maybe token vendor with 3x new vanities from the old low level items as promised?

I would love to have an event focused on only lootable prizes(no crafting or event tokens). Would be very reminiscent of original Rpgs as well as the old days where dedication can reward the player.

I love this!! When we don't complain, and we work together to advise & ask & give feedback this is what we get from our Devs. True honesty, and some good background info. But some of them are unrealistic, a lot of them also aren't open minded to others.. Think from a player perspective, type from a player perspective, NOT YOUR PERSPECTIVE. I like the proc of the weapons. But I am also hoping there is a mythic version that gives better stats and makes the proc last longer.

Also is there any chance these procs can be activated by skills or just dmg in general? Relying on Basic attacks for procs may not make the weapons useful. It’s just that Short CD on skills through masteries, giving out pets that reduce CD (Dagon, Hero Harry, etc.), and other procs that reduce CD of skills (Ebon Armor) already limits the chances of efficiently using basic attacks . If players are forced to choose between sacrificing skill dmg in hopes of proccing weapons then I don’t think this weapon will be that useful since it already gives low stats. Thank you.

This event only lasts for one (1) week... but I'm pretty sure the confusion on this matter comes from the fact that we (mostly I) insist on using USA-style date notation (month, day).

Hey also could you guy make it to where the pets still lv up while hungry we just can't use the Aa because switching is kinda difficult with hot bars and feeding is alot of gold and not everyone spends real money on the game. And far as the even goes I didn't like the fact I couldn't participate in the last event due to my low level. Like I was really looking forward to at least farming the points for vanity.

I like all the ideas for event I also like the event itself it's got a good background and it's a good filler I mean thank you STS for bringing out event after event it dousent matter if it's mass gold or mass whatever it's the fact that there is something for us to do as fillers I would love if you bring out unique effects with new vanities and stuff like if wearing you can do a emote unique to the item for example swimking swim emote marvelous hero pose so on I think these make items that much better as it also gives players a variety of more emote what can be used when doing videos would help me alot and I'm sure outhers would appreciate aswell thanks

I see all these complaints about it not being an event because its just a recolor of something. Its still an event maybe a smaller event to keep us with new content so we don't get bored of the same old farming . Also it's meant to hold us off till the bigger main events such as Christmas, Halloween, etc. Just be grateful and stop complaining so much people...

+1 i love the extra effects on the back vanities! would be cool to see some new emote vanities and set bonus vanities like the Dr.Arcanstein set had the self circling halo or tempered volcanium set explodes enemies.

These are super unique and would love to see some great looking vanities with some new cool bonuses like those above^ also this event is a great filler, i appreciate the content! (:

The only suggestion I have, which I mean this is a suggestion that involves like maybe 2-5% of the AL players, are twinks. Any possibility to make the weapons that drop from the boss exact level of your char? I’m a level 14 twink and I’m getting rewarded with lvl15 weapons, kinda the same deal with the Roman candle weapons which sucks for some of us who just wanna stay put at a particular level.

Its a cool event, pretty sure you get kills, no energy needed, no gold needed to run, can run solo easily, cool vanity and a few other things that makes it easy for all players. Just simple. I like it.

If I’m looting lvl 25 weapon on my lvl 10 toon, which lvl should I play to loot a 10 :p. Is the loot table that random? Level wise?

The loot table is especially random and will drop items in a very wide level range. A 'Level 10' toon could loot items as low as Level 5 and as high as Level 25. This was done intentionally to compel / reward advancement, to make the equipment items more rare, and to promote positive social friction via trading (as the required crafting materials are relatively easy to collect by yourself and would not serve this purpose).

Poop, I was farming for my low lvl toons. Odds are against looting my class, that’s hard enuff. Now throw in even less odds of my level. Who need rare drops of legendary gears. Thought this was just for funnsies.
