Help me choose my new character!

Hello everyone!

I'm going to start a new character soon :)

I have been playing Commando and wanted to try a different class. Should I go with an:

Engineer
7457

or
Operative?
7456

Also, explain to my why I should choose a certain class.
*I'll still be keeping my Delphina Commando character.

Go with eng, so you can finally have the ability to heal/revive. Plus armor is better :D

Engineer ftw! Everyone I talk to with all three classes , always tell me that it's the engineer they enjoy playing the most.

Idk which one but Engineer has good armor and heal/revive people right so they must use a lot of mana stims,And op is All about Dps=damage per second and idk about damage so it doesn't use a lot of health and mana stims.so they are hard to chose between those 2 ,this is my opinion but I work a lot better with Operative

Choose Engineer! You have the abilitys heal/revive, you can have a high dps when you get to endgame with a Dmg implant/Bonus Pink Shield/weapon set!

Operative!
You get kills much faster and you're always an effective teammate to others. :] I have a L41 engie, and though it is fun, once you reach the 40's and 41's it gets quite stale.
The PvP capabilities of a nicely built op just has so many possibilities! A no death operative looks so neat plus its easier to farm kills :]
Also! The armor just looks so much sleeker ! For the sake of vanity, operative l35 armor is just plain sexy. ;) hehe

It depends on how you like to play games, if you like carrying the team on your shoulders wen they're down choose engineer. If you like yelling at your team to keep up, pick operative.

I've always found OPs more fun, you can see the damage your doing against mobs and you get quick kills. However, if you choose engineer, I encourage you to use a non traditional skill setup. You'll need revive and group heal, after that though play around with different setups and find what you like best. I like the aoe's (transference and I forget the other name), makes you more of a attack engineer then a pure healer, a lot more fun. Also, as I play Op more, I sure find that I appreciate an engineer along for heals, something else to consider.

Engineer- I have all three classes and I definitely enjoy playing my engineer the best. Also because the engineer can heal/ rev you will be able to use less stims.

Hey Delph, i repost here my answer to the 'who is the most important?' question from another thread. It explains my choice:

it's hard to say who is the least important, but i can tell u who is the most independent. The operative

Commandos need to get mob's attention to themselves. Engies need to monitor other's health and heal. And operatives choose their targets and just kill them - fast and efficient

Yes, there are priority targets on different levels - the higher the level, the more prioritized some mobs get (on Voleria good operative always takes out 'pushing' scorns, coz those dudes can easily push teammates to mines). But even then it's you, who choose this priority at every given moment....

So for me - operatives are the most 'freeplay' team members

If you want to help people, engineers are the ones. Although if you want them for pvp, they dont really do much damage unless you change the engineer skill to suit it.
I prefer ops as they hav lots of action pack moves. Their moves look awesome and are verystrong as well. Follow Appolo's Build if u can find it and u will be pro in pvp and pve in no time.

It depends on your playing style:
- If you want to kill the most mobs in a team, or be able to kill the bosses real fast then choose Operative
- If you want to survive longer and also keep your teammates "healthy", or you just like to help ppl then choose engineer :D

If you want to try something new, than i would suggest engineer, cause commando and operative are both damage class, although they have some differences.

I think you should choose an engineer because they can heal and revive. Those are two important skills to have in a party. :)

choose engineers because they can heal quicker and intellectual and would be stupid to be a operative and the engineers are helpful to the community

i say engineer.why? cause devs and mods only are at the game to hang around and have some chat with ppl.and when ur an engineer u cn play alot of armors to wear unique and cool.

Since your a mod meaning you spend your days helping others, you would obviously go with an engineer. But if your looking for a took that can smash his/her way through anything with no problem choose an op.

One of my friends told me that ops and engineers have the same armor and such but ops do more damage and engis do more of the healing.

Choose what you like but my chose is op.

I have all 3 characters, personally if you're going to go with low deaths, with the ability to revive or heal fast, than go with the engineer. However, engineers are the lowest damage dealers. So what would take less than a second for ops or coms, it takes a bit more for engineers. An op is good if you want to be a damage dealer, but they die to easy if you don't have an immense amount of red stims are a good engineer with you.
