Help me choose my new character!

Hello everyone!

I'm going to start a new character soon :)

I have been playing the Enchantress and wanted to try a different class. Should I go with:

The Archer

or
The Warrior?

Also, explain to my why I should choose a certain class.
*I'll still be keeping my Delphina Enchantress character.

Bear -- so many options. You can lead. You can safeguard the back. You can melee. You can range. You can gather. You can scatter. Plus it's very different than your mage.

(Though of course, you should play all three classes. You'll see that each class is very different.)

A bear. It's so much easier to stay alive, also you can do almost as much damage with more armor and health. With a bear it takes a lot of skill in understanding when to pull and stomp to a correct position >.> Also, range is important for a bear as well if you don't know how to pull at 12m (In pvp) mages and birds will kill you easily.

Honestly you should pick whatever you want to play most. I chose the archer just cause I thought the bird was cool looking. Birds have very simple gameplay, so if you don't feel like concentrating on healing and stuff this would be a good choice. You do need fast fingers to spam pots if you choose to be full dex...

Bears...because they have Care Bear stares ;) Choose bears also because a good bear is invaluable! Seeing a bear that performs his/her role perfectly is a wonderful sight to see...even more wonderful when it's yourself lol :biggrin:

I would say a warrior full str till lvled up then switch to str/dex. I have supamauler lvl65 supabirdman lvl65 and supawiz lvl65 and always get my bear when need to kill those tough mobs for the newbs.

I would go with bear. Once you have beckon maxed, its the most fun class for pve. IMO. Just make sure to read a tanking guide. XD

How's your current playstyle?

Do you find yourself continuously leading the pack, barging in like a rambomage? Then bear is probably best for you. As a bear you'll need some skill to make sure you stay ahead of the group and clutter the enemies nicely together for your teammates to finish them of quicker. Bears are also more difficult to learn to play right, so if you want to have a challenge in playstyle, this could be your thing.

Are you usually in the middle or behind the pack, or do you simply like to deal as much dmg as possible? Then a bird might be more for you. Birds present a challenge to keep alive due to the low amount of armor, but they make up with their devastating dmg skills. Everyone who says birds don't require tactic and is simply spamming of skills, don't play their class right IMO. Birds are the best class to have to kill bosses quick too, so if you want to contribute most in getting bosses on their knees quicker, this might be the class for you.

Furthermore, usually there's only 1 bear required in a group, while 1-3 birds are often greatly appreciated and can speed up a run considerably.

Both classes are fun to play, which one to choose depends on some of the things I mentioned above :)

I voted for Warrior...I started out as a Mage (which is still my fav btw) but the Warrior has a totally different feel to it. The Archer seems kind of like the Mage to me--so if you want something different try out the Bear :)

I still think playing the bird and then the bear makes the transition between classes better for Delphina. Being the low armor mage that can die really quickely and ranged would bring a lot of class shock to all of a sudden when everyone on your team wants you to tank. That, my friends, is why there are bears afraid to tank.

Bear. Archers, IMO, aren't very fun to play until you've maxed out skills and are a DPS powerhouse. Bears are fun from the start, because you are constantly in the action. It is so fun to stomp everything into a wall and obliterate like 10 mobs. That being said, I feel like playing some more of dat bird now that I've played bear so much :)

It all depends on what u want to do. Archer does have a higher dps but low armor, also in balefort castle when u go to the auction i found out mage armor costs the lowest, warrior a little more money, and archer is the highest costing armor. If u want tons of kills pick archer, but if u want to fight mobs id choose warrior, remember u can use archer and pick str and dex skill points and make an arching warrior or the same thing with warrior. It all depends on what u like. Hope this helped
