The game doesn't work on Chrome for Linux.
Is there any talk going around the studio about making it playable for the Linux users?
It makes me a sad panda I can't play in the browser.

What linux version are you running? Working on Fedora 16(based on redhat) and Backtrack 5 r2, based on ubuntu 8.10

Linux is just an OS, you don't need a computer to use Windows, or god forbid, OSX.

@the OP, Have you enabled Native Client and Override Software Rendering List in about:flags? If that all fails, I'd suggest using Wine of something similar to run a Windows version of chrome.

edit: fedora and backtrack were in a virtual box, inside windows.

Doesnt even work on lastest Ubuntu but oh well. How about installing windows chrome on wine? and trying to run pl from windows chrome
