The third tomb of wisdom quest!
1024 tombs of wisdom, isn't that a bid much? With this kind of number the reward should be equal
The second one with 256 was a pain in the butt!

My guess is the length of the quests was set up to take an appropriate amount of time for new players to level up enough for the next campaign. I just finished the Forest Haven quests with a new character, and they were exactly long enough for me to get to about level 11 (would have been 10 but I spent forever trying to find Drake ;) ).

Trust me with the 3 tomb of wisdom quests, comes up to 1300+ tombs of wisdom, that's at least 3900-5200 treasure chests you have to open, you can get to lvl 45 doing the quest( if it was possible:))

Imagine being a noob and doing it, be greatful you have a level 45 to finish the quest on. :) it is difficult. I'm currently laying off my 256 tomes one.

You don't have to do every quest... some are there just for the ocd people.

obsessive compulsive disorder.
people who have a desire to complete everything or make everything perfect. for me, i do no quests lol. they are just time consuming and don't even give lots of gold.

OCD involves slot more then that, example
Washing you hands every 5 mins.
Checking a door you have locked, 10 times to make sure that you locked it.
Entering a room and counting all the flat surfaces until they add up to a certain number.
Wanting to complete all the quests is not OCD, it proberly closer to those people that collect things then OCD.

It doesnt mean that there are OCD's playing the game that you should import such a long annoying and repetitive quest. Come on, 1024 tomes is waaaaaay too much. Please change it.

Theres nothing wrong with the length of the quest, its just the reward that is the problem.

I agree that the reward needs to be bettered. I read the argument that a pink shouldn't be given because it would de-value pinks... Most of us haven't even finished the 1024 tome quest yet. Besides, if it's a pink specific only for the end of the balefort quest series, it won't affect other pink prices.
OR they could make a vanity item like a cool hat the reward. Getting all those tomes takes some work- the reward should be commensurate ....
