56 or 61?

Should I keep my mage as a 56 pally twink w/ glyph gear or use a lilith wand set as a 61 mage?

61 is bad because from my personal experience with my accidently 6(1) bird I found out that all the games you will ever get into are usually 66. Very rarely do I find even 63-65. So I say stay 56 because 66 People will kill you!

But I find it's actually not that hard to beat crafted sets if they're not the best, and I could look for 56-59 games?
