deal of the day timer trouble

Does anyone else notice that their deal of the day timer is inaccurate? A number of times i have planned on getting plat to buy an item later on, or scheduled time for a thrash farm or xp grind, only to discover that the deal of the day has changed prematurely. Maybe my timer is just weird, but for example, the parrot is cute today but i was hoping to finish thrashing my bird's way to 65 this evening.

What do you think? have you had this problem?

The timer resets at 1700 everyday for me (5:00 PM PST) and I think it does for everyone else as well. Coincidentally, the AdColony videos reset at the same time.

I think it follows Greenwich's time because I get the new deal of the day at 6:00 PM when I'm in Minnesota... (6+GMT) Greenwich is 0+...

Yeah I know how you feel....everytime that thrasher deal comes up for 30 plat, I try to take advantage of it but always disappears on me quicker than I figured with the clock. If I see something I want, I don't want to hesitate otherwise it might be gone. Something about their clocks are set for the Texas area where they have headquarters.
