View Full Version : Decimator or Chaos Breather?!?!?!

Both of these L40 guns are beneficial but which one is actually better. Decimator makes me have higher DPS but Chaos has a lot of more damage and increases my mana. I am an Eng BTW.
And does anyone craft them? Crafting either of them seems to just raise Mana 5 points and STR goes up 1 on Decimator and INT up 1 on Chaos Breather. The benefits of crafting the L65 gear in PL seems way more beneficial but this seems like a waste of 35k credits.

No way, my stats go up a lot higher with the L40 Chaos Breather. I don't have that kind of credits regardless. Who drops that BTW? Mysterious Figure?

I have both guns but still a level 39 so I'm wondering which one to sell off before I hit 40 and can equip it.

For an eng, Chaos. The higher damage means more mana, plus stronger heals and more killer abilities.
Nova won't be worth it, IMO. At update L45 heavy pistol will crush Nova.

Chaos & Energy Shield (or the eng plat shield.. Forgot the name but its purple and has an X shape) if you are looking to boost mana and have good armor while doing pretty good damage. Nova is good for added health and damage. Add the Condor or an Eagle Eye implant; helps give more damage. Or go with the Dura Skin for more armor.
Play with the combinations of the items above and see which is best for your play style and build.
Example: I have a Hybrid Eng with stats on Strength and Intelligence. (mostly Int). My skill list has buffs and attacks. I look for gear that puts points on my armor and boosts my mana & since I can't get plat (due to financial issues & tapjoy apps messing up my phone everytime I download them...) I got a Custom Chaos Breather, Energy Shield, and Eagle-Eye implant.
