Is 51 pvp the best pvp level??

In my book, definatey. Heres a quick summary of 51 pvp.


Why 51 pvp? Not 50?

-Well the number one reason is the access to sewer gear at 51, aswell as being able to use ao3 gear. The sewer gear's oranges and greens and purps are almost as good as pinks (and sometimes better) so if you cant afford sewer pinks at 51 you can use them.

-its easier to face 55's. At lvl 50, your going to be facing 55's because they are in your lvl range. But with 51 gear, you are almost as strong (gear and skillwise) so you can take on 55's and often beat them.


What classes should i use at 51?
A great thing about 51 pvp is that almost all classes are even. So theres a variety to choose from


-mage:

Palidan: this is a str mage (most use sword and shield although some use wand/shield) they are strong at 51 and deadly when using gear with high dodge. Weaknesses are that it can be hard toget hit % and lower damage.


Pure int: with a staff your can get hige damage with a int mage. Many times u will quockly combo kill an unexpecting opponent. It deals out great damage with staff in 1v1, and wand/bracer ggives armor in ffa. Weaknesses are that they can be flimsy In FFa and not always as good against birds.


Dexmage: dexmages (like int) deliver a huge punch. Your skills and bow destroy targets fast. However its the lowest armor of the mage builds. So most dexmages go into combat with their shields already up. So a weakness is low armor and bad mana regen.

Gear is hella expensive.. Like 1m if you want the good stuff...a little more actually. But I was about to make a guide about bears -_- LEAVE THAT TO ME :-D

Great guide, but, as Noodleleg said, the gear is pretty pricey. Once i get my bird leveled up ill come back and check for a build. Pure dex :) Im itching to pvp with a bird, they look fun.

Well FF and MM sets are alot, and RR is like 700k, but the other colors of gear are good. Ad SEwer gears pretty cheap.

SK is pretty pricey, which is what im aiming for...i might just use henchman. Then again, i havent seen sewer prices in ages.

You can get sk helm , bow , and armor for 300k easily.

As far as best level for pvp, 51 is very good. Still, end game is my favorite.

lvl 51 pvp-ing....WAS the best, until ppl started goin up to 66. So now for those lvl 56's genarally when we enter a game its mostly made up of 65 or 66 players. (not my idea of fun).
So wat im trying to say here is that if u want a more aherm! #fair# pvp match, go endgame.

yeah that's what im trying to say. it's hard nowadays to find a decent 56 game without 60's. Most just leave 56 n rise up to 60++. So CONGRATz to all those still 56! ;)

I quite like the 51-61 region. Sewer gear allows many different builds unlike it is at endgame atm.
I recommend having multiple chars at various levels so you won't get 'farmed' by some highlevel jerks. It's tons of fun tho. ;)

As for lvl51, many bears and birds use a mix of Str plates and Dex weapons which work out quite nicely.

Im sorry conrad but i love lvl 50 pvp :) i guess as long as you have a 45 to host the game its good. IGN is thedeadelf btw

In my opinion, lower level pvp is more competitive:

1. Because you have a limited amount of skill points at lower levels, you must be wise and skilled at selecting where you put them. At level 50-51 or higher, nearly everyone will have the same skills maxed out, so there isn't as much of a secret or custom skill build factor involved.

2. Typically, from 22-35 levels fights last longer (unless you get a nuke him).

I personally like 50 PvP. My bird is rockin' a death shotty set for birds/bears and rift for mages. 51 Birds are always like "WTF" when I beat them :eagerness: and they just try and try again until they get a dodge streak:suspicion:

If you have some sort of cash then 50 PvP is just as good as 51, but if you're dead broke like you only have 25k or something (maybe less) then 51 is for you. Sewer gear is pretty good and cheap too, unless you're looking to have the best gear, then just save up... Anyways yeah 51 is good if ya wanna PvP and have fun and be fairly decent at the same time. Eh but then you have to fight L56 glyph users, anyway it's fun when you win.

In my humble opinion 56 is best. At LVL 51 it's almost impossible to keep up with glyph but at LVL 56 IMO its a lot easier to overcome LVL differences as a 56 Mage I find myself easily beating some demonic LVL 61-64 and even a few crafted people... Although I try to stay out of games LVL 61 or over... It's a great LVL to pvp but the disadvantage is gear prices... Up to 25-30 mill for the best sets

I currently have a few chars in 30-35 pvP and IMO its gettIng ridiculous!! I am now lvlIng a bird and bear to 51 for pvp. I'm glad tO hear alot of ppl enjoy 51!!
