Maybe I'm just an auditory learner so if you said this to me rather than me reading it I would understand what this means. Would you mind spelling out exactly what you mean? Do I have to do anything special or does logging in to play work?

Basicly, your phone/tablet IS your account, as they all have unique identifiers. Google and apple are changing the way those identifiers work.
So instead, you need to register with spacetime studios, by using a username and password.

This is only for people who aren't using an E-mail address/password to login. On the login screen there's an option called 'use unregistered account', meaning you don't use an E-mail/pw to login to the game. When you currently use an E-mail address and password, you won't have to do anything.

In case you would be using an unregistered account, after login you'll automatically get the screen below, asking you to register:

JaytB is correct! If you already have an account, there is nothing you need to do. You're golden!

If you have friends or guild mates who haven't registered their account, they will see the pop up JaytB posted when they log in.

For anyone who recently received a push notification from a Spacetime Game asking you to register and save your account, that is because there is a trial account associated with your device that will be lost when the new game clients are released (which should be soon).
