Unlimited thanks

I wish we didn't have a daily allotment of "thanks" we could give out. I think our thanks should be unlimited. My thoughts on thanking are when I'm thinking of thanking I shouldn't have to think of how many thanks I have before I'm out of thanks. Many times thanking thinklessly has left me without any thanks to thank someone I think deserves a thanks.

Hmm, maybe it's so that the standards of thanks becomes higher. As in, thanked posts should be of a different quality than just a post that people agree with or like :)
