Title, been seeing a lot of conflicting opinions about this and would like the community's general consensus about which of the two is better and why. Thanks!

Usually ppl say both but ebon is easier to proc on mage. Just go for full boss damage for mage and rog no need for armor awake. This is because war will solo enemies and taunt bosses keeping them piled as rog and mage do high damage to the bosses.
Even if the rog and mage had high def they still get 1 shot even war is one shot easily.

Despite Ebon having 10s longer cd, because of its 50% haste and ~5s proc length, you'll be able to land alot more skills hence more dmg output.

But having both armors, alternating them while the other is in cd is the way to go.

Maybe have abyssal most op awake. Ebon vest clean. Proc ebon loadout first then swap to your abyssal loadout. Since ebon procs easier you will swap to abyssal fast and while doing dmg with ebon vest on it gives a chance to proc abyss.

For more dmg efficiency, proc both staff and ebon, then wait ti'll staff cd is done, and now proc abyssal and staff. That way you'll end up with 2 sessions of high crit and burst dmg.

Sent from my SM-G892A using TapatalkEven if you manage to simultaneously proc both armors, it isn't smart to do so as I explained it on my previous post.

I appreciate the prompt replies guys! Rn I can't afford both armors (I have 10m atm) so if I had a choice would going for ebon with good awakes and then later down the line as I earn enough abyssal be good? (I use endless currently)

In this scenario where do I proc my gun? Ebon+staff -> swap to ebon+gun as soon as I proc staff -> swap to abyss+staff when staff proc runs out?

I owned both, decided go with ebon
Ebon haste proc is really good when you can do sometimes crit lighting three strikes in a row, well, almost.

I am not too hardcore so i don't like the idea of swapping gear set while busy with boss. But if that is your style, you can certainly do like other already said.
