?? Festerfang swamp is elite?

I am helping these guys level and 1 loots an "Elite" boss relic in normal fester fang swamp map. Not hydra or orrick or deep marsh. Just plain old basic festerfang swamp.
Is this map elite or not?

Maus drops Elite Runner chests all the time actually, in M6 you get tons of Gold ones, but they're still not considered Elite.

There were once a few elite mobs in regular Arcanum Castle, and non-elite mobs in Elite Ydra Forest, so maybe just some bug/overlook by the devs. Maybe they accidentally put the Elite tag on Festerfang bosses? Huhuhu.

I think maus is half elite because you get those stars for killing enemies and the map color is sort of like elite. Should keep runner chests in there tbh else they go over 10k ea and no one buy them.
But in infest swamp that map is not even hard and no stars appear for kills.
Maus is easy but can insta kill anyone in .5 seconds.

Devs confirmed that Maus is not Elite, because Timekeeper's Crypt is the Elite version of Somberholt. Stars appear because they're just a sign that kills count for the 10,000 mob APs.

Well that one doesn't have any APs for killing mobs too, so no point in having stars there.

I still think it's just a bug or overlook or something that an Elite Relic dropped (which looks like it's from the boss and not mobs).

How could I have mistaken that “gold elite runner” could mean elite!

-not complaining that they drop there thats a plus to players just a bit concerned because elite relics in a non elite map.
