Any tips on how to obtain it? And if you have it how long did it take to get it, where did you get it from, and what level were you at when you got it? Thanks:)
You can aquire squid buddy from Delta and Numa Maps. The drops are COMPLETELY RANDOM. Elixers WILL NOT help you. Good Luck :)

I have a squid buddy, his name is Simon.
He says do some numa/delta runs everyday until you find his brothers and sisters.
Be sure to do them solo, and lock your room.

why solo?
So say you've been doing like 25 numa runs, and 25 delta runs everyday for three weeks straight.
Then a random noob jumps in your game and gets an xray or squid buddy right before your eyes and says "what is this?" "is it good?"
Locking your games and doing these runs solo makes sure you are the only one to get a vanity drop.

My friend just got his first vanity drop and it is a squid buddy. For those who are in the hunt for one....just keep at it and good luck.
