If you can solve this, I'll give you a high five :D and yes, I know the answer...

You have toothpicks that have been lain out on a table. It shows:

Vll + l = ll

This does not equal. How can you move one toothpick and make it equal? And no, you can't do inequalities =p

VII - I = VI

Take the vertical toothpick out of + sign and make V on other side.

Take the v apart so it'll b III+I=II move the part ov the v u took in front of the III so it'll be -III+I=II true statement

I got it

VII - V = II

Shift the vertical toothpick in + a little to the right to make a V

Since the V is made of two toothpicks, you take ONE of them and move it on the other side, connecting it with the II. It should be a result like this:

/|| + | = ||/

So, the first number kinda looks like the third roman numeral, and the last number looks like the fourth roman numeral :P

move the tooth pick that keeps the plus sign from being a minus. take that tooth pick and place it diagnolly across the equals sign to make it a not equal to sign. thus you have VII - I (is not equal to) II.

EDIT: i didnt cheat either. im assuming this is from somewhere online.

Er... None if you are close...sorry. Think about more operations in math. (Warning) May include something more than addition and subtraction. Good luck!

Congratulations my friend! You have won! High five!
So answer was to move one of the l from Vll and make it a square root symbol.

That's no different than changing the + to - and using that piece to change the answer to VI.

Vll + l = ll

I have the fu*king solution now:
Vll + l = ll
-l -l
Vll=ll l
tilt one on the right side and you should get O
JK you should get:
Vll=Vll
