There are many ranks in the forums and this is how you get them:
Junior member: Newly joined PL forums
Member: Have stayed on forums for a fairly good amount of time
Forum Adept: I have no clue
Senior Member: For those you are over 12 years old(Jk)
Ambassador of Alterra: Be an ambassador
Moderator: I dunno
Dev: I dunno
I need help making this guide :P

I think the "new member" is under your name when you just joined the forums, not junior. Also, I think the rank is based on the number of posts you make, not how long you say (correct me if I'm wrong).

This post is not just a post to increase my post count. Certainly nobody would reply "Cool guide!" just to increase post count. Not that I can blame anyone since fancy titles are given just for posting.
