Possible Bug?

Hello, so today I was experimenting with my stats and tryna see how dex affects damage and bonus damage %. Anyways I found something odd when I respec and I was wondering this is intentional or a bug. If i equip nothing and have no pet on, my starting dmg is 1.33. If i equip everything but the weapon, my starting damage is still 1.33. When I equip the weapon (duggar daggers), it changes to 1.36; and when i have both weapon and a pet (Geng HB), my starting damage is 1.71. These values change depending on the weapon and pet HB. but another interesting thing is that I get more starting dmg value the weaker the weapon i equip.

Btw: I did this on a rogue.

I was just wondering if this intentional or a bug because it’s very interesting how it is only the pet and weapon that affects the stats you see on the attributes page. This could potentially mean that weapons and pets have an inherent hidden damage that adds to our base damage.

I will check on this when I get back to my PC, but I believe the discrepancy may be due to the way we express the damage values for Honor weapons - they’re handled a bit differently than normal gear :-)

it wasn’t just with honor weapons i tried with legendaries and mythics that were weaker than the duggar daggers
