It has come to my attention that i have not seen any GOA's for a long period of time now and most of the players are inactive etc.. and i was wondering if the dev's should make some new GOA's that are active all the time and can help players, I only see a few GOA's running around but they are only on for a short time only. So this is why i have thought of this idea, so we can Bring The GOA guild back up and running again just like it use to be. Please leave a comment if you must and it would be great to get some feedback for the Dev/mod team, Thank you.

GoA is a way for STS to say thank you to their players. They don't have to nor is it mandatory for them to thank us. We should be thanking them...

And GoA's don't have to help people, it's not their duty though they can choose if they have time to help.

true, I am glad to have been honored, but would that be us thanking them for thanking us? what if they then thank us for thanking them for thanking us? Ever read "I am an infinite loop"?

Okay. GoA's never had any other duties but to follow ToS. The program was a way for sts to thank the ones who contributed something to the community.

GoA is a relic now. It should be buried because nowadays u see ones who try to pursue to it by making not that great guides (KRHM). This was just an example but it makes the forums a bit twisted u know. Like there was a goal over here to be reached. The forums r meant to be a place where players discuss about various things and have fun alongside it.

Look at one of Yanis' or Physiologic's guides (if u need help with the search function u know where u can get the info). Those guys did an INCREDIBLE work with their guides. They are just simply perfect and they cover every single aspect of the issue.

And because of why they did the guides? Because they were needed and not because of GoA. GoA was announced after those amazing guides. Those guides were made with truly good intentions and they were not trying to pursue anything with their guides but to help other players out. And they sure did.

Seems hard anyway that the amount of players today aren't as helpful as they used to be back then. Sure there's a bunch of good players here and there. Overall though...

My $0.02 :)

Players that needed incentive to be helpful, werent really helping at all.

FYI, there are other methods beside just helping players.

It may also be that what there is to make a guide about is lacking. Some of those older guides could use updates though with the new level caps :)
