For the next two weeks in Arcane Legends (1/14 - 11/28) don your racing helmet and goggles for the Frosted Downs Racing Event!

To get started, visit Windmoore, Kraag or Vardan Valley to speak to Ilsa to learn more about the event. Joining is simple! Head through the portal (no energy required!) and select a cart to race. Each race is three (3) laps around the track. Collect boosts and Hustle Buck tokens along the track as you go. But, beware of ice traps! Hitting a patch of ice will cause you to lose control temporarily. You'll collect event points and bonus tokens at the end of the race. The better you place, the more tokens you'll receive:



First Place gets 50 Event Points and +20 Bonus Hustle Bucks
Second Place gets 20 Event Points and +10 Bonus Hustle Bucks
Third Place gets 10 Event Points and +5 Bonus Hustle Bucks
Fourth Place gets 5 Event Points and +1 Bonus Hustle Buck

Thought that was it for the preview? SURPRISE! There's more! In this update we've also added Honor Guild Battlegrounds PvP.

In traditional Honor PvP fashion this takes the well known Guild Battlegrounds format, but evens the playing field by requiring a full set of Honor PvP gear to participate.

To initiate an Honor Guild Challenge, simply select Guild Honor PvP when setting up your challenge.

It's a lot harder to win the Frosted Downs races because the ice traps are placed at random all over the track. This randomness (and the powerful effect of the 'ice') could offer a formidable challenge for the macro users. Let's see :-)

Only profit here is running lb, that should equal over 10k tokens a day. 50-100 pulls a day of those crates for 14 days should at least get something good. As an lb runner i can say that's viable

Yeah, I wasn't happy with the gold income from the last racing event. So, this time 'round, while the token payouts are the same as the Arlor Grand Prix racing event, I decided cut the token costs for the instant-open gold crates and the locked crate by half... so it's much better gold income by comparison. I'm not saying it's the same as what you'd expect to get from a major combat-based event where minions, minibosses and boss monsters can drop a whole host of valuable trade-friendly items as well as gold, but from my tests Frosted Downs is a lot more profitable than the Grand Prix.

How much platinum will cost this vanitys ?
Please can we limit the buying of the vanitys per account to max 3 (for the type of characters), all the time people with high amounts of platinum buy them all for sell only, not left for others:(

I think by doing this it would make it unfair because some people I’m sure have ton of accounts with just one char. They could simply buy items on all there accounts and the ones that have like one account and paid for char slots can only get 3

Yes that should be fixed - along with players on PC being able to 'boost' before players on mobile devices / phones.

I played the event for a bit and it still seems the the boost trick isn't fixed. Maybe there could be something to fix this like depleting a small chunk of boost every time the boost button is tapped?

This type of events is fantastic, any lvl players can play with out energy’s (free play) not need any equipment, no need to worry about death, and if spending their tokens to vendor, they making gold .
Me so high equipment and lvl I’m 4 place all the time XD but is only a game.

absolutely the worst event the studios came up with, nothing to do with Arlor story line/ could had been replaced with other events we;ve had in the past but i guess innovation?? I wish STS would add the drop rates for the Underhul quests/ bring back a chance to ((complete achievements, a bit of an elitist system imo ))
