I'm sure something like this has been brought up in the past, but not recently.

I was pvp ing with my new level 61 bear in a lvl 60 hosted game. Every other player there, but 1 , was using a crafted set. It got me thinking that maybe a +/- 3 level difference would be better. I mean, a newb mage in a crafted lilith set owns pretty much all level 61s. Imo, it would balance out lower lvl pvp as well, like all the 17s that farm 12s, for example.

What do you guys think? I'd like to hear some pros and cons about this idea.

:-/ I don't like it... Having lower and higher lv twinks can make it fun :). Besides my lv 10 can beat some fifteens >_> (the bad ones anyway)

I think this would be better end game. Twinkers, not so much since twinkers go all pro and beat higher levels. Nice idea dewey

Agreed. It won't effect things much anyways since for example, if you're a twink between 23 and 28, you're most likely 26 since that's a popular level, so you won't miss out on fighting many others. I stopped using my 61 Mage because of that. It was all 66's. Regardless of what people say, 5 levels is a big gap, no matter what level you're at. With +\- 5 you can end up fighting a 66 as a 56...

I do like this idea, because i find it annoying when there is a really big gap between the highest and lowest level on a map. If a 25 hosts a game, it can have a Level 20 and a Level 30 in the same board, thats not really balanced. I also think that a lot of rushing occurs (atleast at lower levels) when a level 35 joins and kills all the level 30s etc.by having it 3 levels of separation it usually means you won't be fighting someone with the next tier of gear.

The person that creates the game gets to choose the lvl scale?
