Gonna have to delete him or create a new character unfortunately.
But if you don't want to lose some time, you can start putting more int in your warrior so that you can use int weapons.
I'd reccomend making a new character by buying a character slot.

If you spend a couple plat you can re-spec to int/ st and use int gear. If thats what you mean. Can't really change looks.

Dang not worth it then

Either you dont deal a lot of damage at lvl 9 (strength at 22) or one handed blade are piles of poo?

Your gonna be weak at level nine, yeah. Wait unfilled about 20+ when everything begins to kick in.

With int toons the generality is;
Wand + bracer = more defense/less damage
And, staff for more damage but less armor.
Lot like bears sword/shield= survive and do less damage or 2 handed wep for more damage at the cost of less armor.

woah woah woah! your not giving your str bear a chance at lv 9 :). First off, no class deals very much damage at lv 9, and cheap int weapons are VERY overpowered until lv 15ish. once you start lving up you will realize that dex is the damage dealing stat :). second, bears arent meant for dealing heavy damage. They are meant for taking damage for the team. As a bear your job is to keep the other members of your party alive by using "taunt" to attract their attention only to have their attacks bounce off your heavy armor. for a successful bear build i recommend that you put just enough str to equip your weapons and armor then putting your remaining points in dex. This will give you a good mix of high damage and armor. Also put 6 points into the skill "rage" it will really help your damage output, especially at lower lvs

Thanks for that helpful advice! I shall do that when i hit the right level.

Yeah bears are needed for their tanking and crowd control ability! I made an int/dex bear, currently 51, and its awesome! At lvl 9 you haven't given your bear a good shot yet and will soon come to love it! I would suggest, if this is yOur first bear, to go dex and strength!! Hope you chose to stay a bear........ They are fun!

I also agree with str/dex bear. I'm at 58, and so glad i made this choice. As a str/dex bear, you have the best of both worlds. You keep your birds and mages safe taking damage while at the same time dealing good damage. I, personally prefer an axe and shield as opposed to a double handed sword.

What r u advicing him...goodness. Intel wand/bracer haha, useless. Dex with bow all the way till 58. Skip nuri's, then mt fang with str armor and bow again(without elexirs, if with then full dex set). Intel was only good for farming kills in sewers with enchanted blast staff se.

Time. tell me your ign and add blindrogue blindknight and guardian, i'll teach u crowd control.

EDIT: Man, just make a bird and save yourself trouble. No one likes bears, unless they r on 4x elexirs in pve or with str set in endgame ctf.

Yay! :) good job! dont worry about int bears. they are bears who use int as their main stat. They are very rare, and you might not even ever see one. just keep doing what your doing because your doing a good job ;)

True, but maybe if we expose more new players to the idea of int bears there will be more of them and we will dominate Alterra!!!

pretty sure int adds damage (much more then str but much less then dex) and it also adds armor (much more then dex but much less then str)

Strenghth - dodge, damage, health
Dexterity - crit, hit %, dodge, DPS
Intelligence - Mana, DPS and one more but I forget

I'm pretty sure that that's what each of the attributes do, but I don't remember that well as I haven't needed RO recall that info in a while.

Strength - Dodge, Health, H/S, Armour, Increases skill dmg for warriors

Dexterity - Crit, Hit%, dmg / DPS, Increases skill dmg for archers

Intelligence - Mana, M/S, Increases skill dmg for enchantresses (*Healing skills replenish more health the higher your int)

As you can see, strength increases mostly 'protection' attributes. Ideal for tanking, and also gives your skills a damage boost. However, you do pretty bad damage, the worst, actually, if you invest purely in strength.

If you run dex, you can see you have many amazing DPS focused attributes, and you will slice through mobs like a knife through hot butter. However, enemy mobs will slice through YOU like a knife through hot butter, due to your lack of real armour. Contrary to popular belief, though, dex DOES give a little more armour per point than int. Nuke mages are actually the squishiest things in the game. If you run full dex, it's a fairly average build, very good damage (esp. with Rage) but relatively poor armour.

Intelligence... Plain sucks. As you can see, you only get 2 main attributes increased per point of intelligence, compared to strength and dex's 4 to start with. And they're not even that important to you. You will have the worst armour, worst dodge, worst health... But you'll have average damage. Only thing that's ok, if you decide to run pure intelligence on your bear.

What I think you should do? Run a dual spec build with half strength, and half dex. You get pretty good protection and you are good for tanking, while the dex means you can deal fairly decent damage yourself. But continue running a 3:2 strength:dex build until you reach Alien Oasis. There, equip requirements drop dramatically, and you are able to equip strength gear with relatively little strength. You should then level out your dex with your strength and convert completely to dual spec. From there, add 3 strength points and 2 dex one level, then 3 dex and 2 strength the next, so both dex and strength stats remain the same. Continue this until you boogie into Mount Fang and get yourself some crafted Orlok :) Remember, you are not restricted to just strength gear. You can always change to a bow or something for more DPS if you feel like it. That, IMO, is the greatest strength of the dual spec build.

PS: Int bears suck, but int birds are just plain BADASS :D

Int bears are the best way to get booted.. When I first joined PL, I put all points on INT as I didn't know anything then..and the darkbolt blasters looked cool.. But I was heavily booted from games...

I know, every attribute adds some of everything. But the ones I listed were the ones increased the most. The key words in your post were 'not very much'.

Impossible, you can create a new char that costs plat or create an unregistered for the first part free later you need to register or you can always Delete your warrior and change to a Mage, you can ask STS in feedback if they'll change this but i doubt it thanks ask if you need help, starfletcher
