Imo selling and trading igns, accounts and such (only if it is for ingame currency ofcourse) should be legal.
The only catch to it, if you get scammed this is totally your fault and you lose any right to complain about it.
Although it would definitely have a big chance to spike scams, it would give us alot more freedom

Ign1 uses that name to scam people/be toxic ect. Then an innocent person comes along and likes ign1 and buys it. Pretty soon innocent person is responsible for all the bad things that come along with ign1.

Thats 1 reason why you cannot buy igns. It would be a vicious circle of whos who, enabling scammers and the like.

And no, i havent done it nor will i. But it would be interesting to see what it spawnsit's easy to scam people with this because it's not a direct trade. As far as i know this game does not allow any trades that are outside the normal trade window. They made it like that to prevent scams more.
