PLEASE FIX bug in racing event ( not the one that you fixed )

i am sure this has affected me and all players, which is slowing us down esp if running lb. i would cross ON the boost icon, on a REGULAR basis, and my boost fuel wouldn't recharge, and the one behind me takes it and he recharges !! for the love of god, i hope you see this thread and look into it, i've lost numerous times and its slowing me and all players down. ofc many are going to reply that its about my ping etc...... but i'll clear that out from now. i am playing on a gaming pc, which ofcourse is connected to the internet by an Ethernet cable, AND my wifi turned OFF. i can assure you that its not ping/freeze/lags or any other form of gameplay dilemmas. i apologize in advance as well if i seemed aggressive in my thread, but i was hoping that the latest fix was going to fix the above problem as well.

Based on what you're describing, a few things come to mind:
1. Your opponent's position isn't perfectly in sync on your client and you are looking at their interpolated position (but on the server they actually picked up the boost before you did)
2. The pickup radius for boost is smaller than it should be and you didn't actually pick it up even though it looks like you should have
3. Your car was on one side of the powerup (but not close enough to pick it up) in one server frame and the next server frame you were on the opposite side of the powerup (but not close enough to pick it up). I'll see if this is possible based on how fast your car can move in combination with the boost radius.

At any rate, I'll look into it and I appreciate your passion!

Yeah happens to me quite often aswell. I go right through the boost even when nobody is close to me. I noticed it happens while im boosting or tapping my boost as i go through the “new boost.” Hope this help man [emoji16]
