I believe elixirs aren't supposed to have any effect in PvP. I wonder if this it's not supposed to count down?
This sounds exploitable to me, if someone needs to wait 15 minutes for a mission then they can just go play defense in a PvP game.

Damage/Armor, etc doesn't have any effect in the map, in a town, etc. but it still counts down, so I'd assume this would follow.
Not arguing it is supposed to have any effect there.
