[BUG] Crash to homescreen

I've had this happen multiple times. I'll be running in the 3D dungeons and for whatever reason, I crash to my home screen. No force close message, nothing. The game will start back up, but I lose out on the xp from the run, unless it happens after the boss is killed, and, more importantly, I lose the 3 energy spent.

Phone: HTC Evo 3D, rooted, CleanROM Reborn 1.1
Also happened on MIUI rom, CyanogenMod 7, WarmRom 2.3, and stock rooted rom

Update: It happened on my unrooted Asus TF101 running 4.0.3.
