Firestorm area damage issue

Hi pop here :3
Ok so i was soloing plasma pyramid by my self and got whooshed by the monsters

Anyway.. when i saw my character using the spells, i relized that some skills didnt hit the monsters that are right next to the character!
So i decided to test it out..

First i used ice storm and it worked fine. See how it is hitting all the monsters up close and far away?

Well heres the second pic..
And see how firestorm is skipping monsters up close to the character

See how those 3 monsters didnt get hot inside the white circle?

FIRESTORM IS NOT HITTING THE CLOSE UP MOBS!

I noticed this awhile ago. I thought it was them dodging it. But it doesn't say dodge above their head. Hmm

This happens in pvp sometimes with me. Not all the time but when i spam fast ill click it but fire storem doesnt even show i tapped the skill o.O

I realized this as well, it works close, just you have to be backing away for the mob member, Yeah it sucks

But sometimes you know how when monsters hit you it frezes you(stops) and only way to get out is by using area skills

It could be possible that the target is hit, but the chance of knock back is I dont know 97%? Just guessing random things :o

Then you should check if you missed
I looked at your picture, it says miss so yeah problem possibly solved :o

When you miss, it doesn't say dodge on target's head, it says MISS on yours.
Firestorm ALWAYS has a 100% Knockback if it hits.
Firestorm has been tested to have the lowest HIT % for the skills for mage.
Plus, you have a lot of enemies that can debuff your hit.
