I've farmed LE and never found anything with the same name as that all I found was frosty mail and yeti clothes

I may have had one, I remember finding a white frost armor from swamps, and I though, oh that's weird and I liquidated it. Possibly the armor version of the kite shield?

No that would be blue plate armor. Now that you mention it, I once got frost leather from the swamps. I thought it was LE gear that dropped by some bug, and just liquidated it...
