Back in 2012, I fell in love with Dark Legends. It was a great game, emphasis on was. I respected the developers for the amazing content that was being added, made the game quickly one of my favorites. And as time went on, I felt grateful to be part of such a vibrant and alive community. All of the friends I’ve made over the years, events I’ve joined in on, it was all spectacular to be a part of. And as I sit here, writing this, I feel a great sadness. It has become apparent to me that not only is the game neglected and forgotten by the developers, but we as a community have ceased to exist. People just moved on from this game. After almost a decade, I feel like there is nothing left for me, not only on the game, but in this disappearing community. I will always think back fondly to my experiences on this game in the past, but in its current state, I am just done. I refuse to list out all of the things “wrong” because it is a waste of time. As a customer, a member, and an original player, my opinions simply do not matter to the developers. I highly suggest to everyone else who is left, to rethink why they are online everyday. What is left for the older players? To put it blatantly; nothing. Our community has ceased to exist, updates are nonexistent, and game developers simply do not care.

It is with great sadness that I say goodbye to this phenomenal game that was, it had great potential. I too, will join the rest of the older players who left. And I doubt that I will return to this platform or any other made by this company, for that matter. Simply because I feel like our opinions oh so blatantly do not matter.

Thanks for 9 years.
