Is plat gear contributing to longer queue times?

Considering that someone wearing plat gear and is decent in pvp will wtfpwn someone just playing for leisure, are leisure players avoiding pvp completely? Queue times are crazy now.

There is a good amount of 17+ players. I never had problems getting games at 19.

20 is rough because you are on the edge. If a 20 joins first, 17-20 are all that is allowed. Just hope the 17 gets in so you can have a full spread.
