Attack increases critical hit chance, a little bit of damage and give a slight bonus to your hit points.

Damage is a straight increase in damage per second.

Just buy plat gear and get both.

You're gonna get pwned in pvp against most people in plat gear no matter how you balance your stats.

Do any gems even HAVE +damage? I thought the only equippable that increased damage was your weapon...and the passive.
