View Full Version : Suggestion: Duelling System (1v1 System)

Just a thought, A lot of people ask to 1on1 people in PvP arena's but that's impossible to do as level-gap and scaling however not many go into PvP arena's as is so I was just thinking randomly while sitting in the club waiting for energy, Why not allow a "Duel" tab on someone's character sheet? It allows you to hone your skills and find the best rotation and also stops the boredom of sitting around doing nothing while waiting for energy. I know it's a long stretch but it could be worthwhile as I always loved to 1v1 people in PvP especially in duels also it could have it's own set of achievements if STS allows it as in, win your first duel, win 100 duels etc etc, It also brings more of a MMO feel as I'm a huge MMORPG player I've played everything from F2P to P2P MMO's and the duel system is always nice to have when you're just standing around town waiting for sales or something else.
Don't get me wrong on this, PvP-Arena is nice an all but sometimes people just wish to 1v1 others and it's practically impossible in Arena as you have to wait until both Blue & red teams have 3 people. So a 1v1 Duelling system would be awesome to add into this game.
and I don't mean an Arena PvP I'm on about regular PvP 1on1 anywhere any time you like. and of course there will be an option to ignore all Duel request.

How come they haven't made PvP yet in DL.... It's still only ctf.

Because its only a week old. I would assume they will add more modes in the future.

I hope they don't. This is how PvP was meant to be played, IMO.

Meh, what does it matter if they add 1v1 or 3v3? You can still play ctf and not the others.:)

I just don't think CTF will have enough people. In PL, the few PvPers there were at times like 4am PST were spread too thin.

Lol, 4am? No wonder. ;) I understand the point you're making, but ios is still to come and that will bring some more pvp people. If the dl ctf is as good as everyone says, I can't say as I rarely pvp, then it will draw people in.

True, I sat in the CTF arena for awhile on blue team before most of the team decided to exit and re enter on the opposite side what was rather sad due to most were friends I knew but it was still a great game, However it's a bit strange how PvP on DL is sometimes instant ctf and sometimes waiting ages. Though. Sometimes 1v1 is always good to just mess around with. Say you're on a combat mission with someone else and you want to wait it out until you have 3 people, You get bored.. Talking sure but what's there to really talk about? and most people leave after awhile or go on ahead and get killed, I myself find it semi-hard to solo with my build as I lack HP but have a crazy attack rate making me crit like a nut. Besides 1v1 in missions, streets, clubs would bring a little ease to the waiting. Not to mention it most likely won't add to your PvP CTF kills as it's not generally CTF like I said, A new bunch of achievements and titles. What better way to ask for more titles? But I know where you're coming from :P just I'd like to 1v1 the people sometimes that always go
"I want to 1v1!!" and it never happens. lool.
And honestly, I don't expect this to come before iOS or level cap, other add-ons as I'd rather have level cap raised before hand and more maps available. lol.

Yeah... I sleep from like 4pm to 2am on weekends, and get up then.
Yeah well they should make a join lobby for pve and ctf or whatever haha
It's been about 2 weeks maybe 2 weeks and a half ^_^

Lmao, True. I've ran into PvP CTF countless of times to be baffled by no one playing and just exit out unless it's sever-oriented as it usually happens when I run into it with no one on the streets, Haha.
