What does dpa stand for? Damage per second?
What does aoe stand for?

What combos can I do with my bow Mage besides ice then fire?

Dps= damage per second

Aoe= area of effect (refers generally to a skill that when activated effects any mobs in a given area.

Mob= an npc monster

As for combos there are some that require other classes to proc, there is a thread somewhere listing some of the basic ones.

yes. aoe as jonboy said are spells like firestorm or lightning where it affects more than one enemy at the same time. or it can be a buff like blessing of might or it can be a debuff like nightmare.
you might not have learned these skills yet, i'm not sure.
