Respec - What is it?

What does respec do? I assumed it just re-rolled your base stats, but from what I believe now, I think you can reassign the current allotment. So can I with one respec have:

Str : 195 / Dex : 10 / Int : 25 ...?

And can I re-adjust the values too for one respec:

Str : 1 / Dex : 228 / Int :1 ...?

Or:

Str : 76 / Dex : 77 / Int: 77 ...?

Or are these multiple respecs?

lets you re roll your stats points (dex, str, int) and your skill points too...

i would go full thou, dont split em...all in one.

split em. put requirement to wear in your need stat and all the rest in dex. dex is an overpowered stat as of now.

A respec wipes your stats and all skills. You will then be able to put any points into any skill you like.

Simply, you lose nothing. You know that button where, when you gain a level it has a number 1 and you touch the skill you want to raise and then tap the button. The skill goes up one and the button no longer says 1. Well, when you respec, that button will say 44 and all your skills will be zero. Same for the attributes button on your Avatar page. They all go to 7, 2, 1 and that button says 220. It's as if you never spent the points, and you get to spend them over again.

When people, even the descriptions, say "re-roll" it's an anachronism. None of these points are random. Some other game must have used that word for years and that is what people call it now, but nothing rolls, nothing is random, you just get to re-apply all the stat and skill points. It's fun and you will not regret it. But buy 5 in case you don't like the way you did it the first time. I tried to respec into a totally different hybrid and I hated it, so I used a second respec to go back to being a pure Dex bird.
