How to not necro threads.

What is a necro? A necro is bumping an extremely old thread that has no value to the modern population. For example, bumping one of laquint's trolling instances from may 2010 would be considered bumping.

How can I not necro a thread? It's simple. Above every post, there is a date. If you see (x/x/2010) and today's date is (x/x/2012), you can assume that that is indeed, a necro.

Remember, look before you post.

Lots of stories are being talked here and many of them are re-talks of some points, being already talked about

So feeling the vibe of discussion and necroing a thread - already consisting of some discussion - enriches experience and helps to re-think some new stuff

I never have, and never will understand the big deal about necroing. If its a useful thread, necro it! Don't start a new thread on the same topic and have the same people that complain about necroing complain at you for starting a topic that's been "stated before in another thread."
