An idea? Me? Yes. I call this project quote X.
Could there be a button where u could make people stop quoting you?
For forums, i mean. I just dislike when people quote every single thing i say and turn into something meaningless.
This is a suggestion.
Again, this is a suggestion, not world domination.
Please dont quote.

It's a part of the forums, deal with it.

Quoted ;D

EDIT: Wow I sounded really hypocritical in that. Sorry bout that, lemme better explain myself. Quoting is good tool for the forums, it ensures people know who you are responding to, honestly I like it, keeps me from getting lost when threads are like 40+ posts long.

Hey Jugernugetx,

If I'm reading your correctly, I think the main thrust of your argument revolves around the replies you get. If there are mean-spirited, trolling or other posts that are in violation of our Forum Rules (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/misc.php?do=vsarules), then we'd like to ask that you make use of the Report Post button and let our Moderation Team know about it.

Removing the quote button would only serve to limit how people can better reply to posts. I prefer to go to the source of the problem - lets deal with the trolls and bad behavior!

Thanks!

Taking quotes of context is definitely a tool seen all the time (especially by *le gasp* politicians XD) but hopefully people will have the awareness to spot an out-of-context quote when they see one.
