No heals from the Mages...

Yeah, any expierenced MMO player would know how valueable a class with heal is, and would atleast have it handy just in case.

I guess, Im only level 13, it just grinds my gears to spend 1500 on pots when theres someone that can heal me for free.

and.... is it forbidden by law not to use your own health pots!?

as allready stated in so many other threads... mages dont have to heal only...!!! what about nuke mages!?

all classes r able to tank - all classes could b damage dealer... but yea... for sure mage is the only class who could spam heal... and most of them will probably do...

BUT PLS.... NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT WHAT ANY CLASS SHOULD DO...!!!

and... yea.. i have max lvl toons all classes !!!

so i tank on bear... shoot em on bird and nuke and heal/rez on mage

but its only up to me to stay alive no matter what class im playing !!!!

Hi there, please understand that at lvl 13 a baby Mage is what I call a mana hog. LOL. We use mana pots as much as u do health pots. It's not until about lvl 40 or 50 that our mana regen can keep up with the needs of the party. Also remember heal has a range and a cool down. You may be outside the range or the spell may be in cool down/recharge.

As an experienced Mage I constently heal my party. It's so ingrained in me now that I hit heal even when I'm soloing a low level map. You'll find that as u level most Mages get better with the heals. Fir me, Its part of my pattern: finish an engagement with mobs hit heal as we are heading towards the next group of mobs. Its not the only time i hit heal but it is a regular time to hit heal for me. Some of them never get a clue though. But most of us do watch out for the health of the group. It's our job. We signed up for it when we picked the character. :)

-_- you do realize he is lv 13 rite? :-/ there aren't even such things as scatter bears at that lv, and most birds die trying to get in on the action :P

Scatter bears are bears who use beckon then stomp and scatter all of the enemies on the map to fly everywhere. Scatter bears annoy the entire party, and often cause the group to be wiped out. Since your lv 13, you won't be seeing any scatter bears yet ;). They don't really come in to play until alien oasis three.

Btw, if you want to be a good bear don't always use beckon and stomp when they reload :). Try to keep enemies in tight groups against walls and corners so mages and birds can use their multi target skills to take em out.

Quick tip: put in enough points in strength to wear your gears, then the rest in dex.

Yes spam taunt. Taunt gives you extra dodge, and it stacks. If you spam it as soon as its available, you stack taunt's bonus twice. Max out rage ASAP too. I may start a new bear soon (my fourth lol), if you want pm me your ign and i'll add you there. I can show you some tips in game.

Here is the link to the scatterbear guide ;) It was done in good humor. At lvl 13 you don't need to worry about being a scatter bear. But if you do exactly the opposite of this guide, you'll be a very good bear. There are also some very good guides in the Ursan section of forums. Trust me at upper levels Good bears are VERY much appreciated. And as you learn to control your skills don't be afraid to let your party members know what they can do to help you. One of the best bears I ever ran with took the time to do that with me. I appreciated his instruction. And it didn't take long. Just a few sentances, in the middle of a run. But this is dependant on those being instructed being willing to listen. I was willing to listen and learn. I'm still learning.

Learn to use restore or the heal for birds then. :p And HP potions. By the time mages have to stop using MP potions, you'll have to stop using HP potions because of fast regeneration and heal.

It's okay to spam stomp at your lv. Scatter bears don't get annoying until lv 35ish
