Elixir Questions

I'm sorry if this is newbie, but I couldn't find the exact info on the guides or searches i ran.

I'm new to Elixirs and have a couple questions now that I am trying to lvl up and the Thrasher is on sale.

1. Is it confirmed that the Elixir time will not expire if you are on line so you don't have to worry about losing time if you have to leave the game?

2. I assume you can not buy Elixirs and save them for later?

3. Can you buy multiple Elixirs and just have them automatically run one after another (as each one expires)?

too late! I ran a quick run (without Elixirs) at lunch and it was soooo slow and i was sooo weak. Addicted!!! LOL
