The 'Honor' Capture the Flag mini-event returns to Arlor!

This event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 Central on April 29th and run for one (1) week, ending on May 6th.

Don your Honor Gear to enter the Honor PvP portal and take on friends and enemies on a completely even playing field. As before, this is available to level 76 players only. By popular demand, this is a 5v5 CTF event.

Note: Honor PvP is only accessible via the gear and portal available in Vardan Valley. It is not accessible via the PvP menu on the World Map.

If you haven't played Honor PVP yet
...here's how it works:

- Visit Vardan Valley and make sure you've completed all of the town quests, then chat with Goody Wells.

- Purchase the 8-piece set of Honor Gear for 100 Vales. This set will include 1 piece of gear for each slot, plus one of each class weapon, as well as 3 honor PvP pets.

- Equip all gear and one honor weapon, then summon your Honor PvP pet (optional). Now you're all set to enter The Arena of Honor portal! The portal is accessible in Vardan Valley Towne near Buddy and the Mogera hole.

- From here, things start to look pretty familiar. Select a mode, then join a team to launch into the CTF map and get ready to rumble!

- Don't forget! Once you're in the map, you can not change your gear.

And, well, you know what to do from there, Legends! Fight hard and fight well.

Another note: Part of the the Honor PvP Code is: Thou shalt not wear Honor Gear outside of PvP. In fact, doing so will give you a debuff in PvE scenarios, so don't forget to change out of it when you're done!

Please make it possible to purchase the honor set from goody without having to finish the quest line. Its terrible for hardcore players!

Lel.. Its asked bc ctf does a lot of fun and its a bigger map so you can play with more and not too much running away.
Having this for a week revives honor PvP and attract more players.

Ok I bought the home gear - easy enough

Ok I figured out that I need to turn on mini map to see we’re to go or we’re player are

Ok I take start taking a lot of damage once I get it

Ok I run around map and not knowing we’re to take flag/dimond

Ok people keep leaving.

So I run around map with no flag or dimond looking for drop off point check pretty sure I uncovered whole map and didn’t find anything

Need like a yellow quest helper arrow under or feet when we have flag/dimond to show us we’re to go. Or some kinda blinks market on mini map to show we’re flags are. I just can’t figure this out and to many deaths and respawing just trying to locate pick up and drop off points

So 3 days in to event and it looks like a bust!

I find myself sitting in the lobby waiting for 9 users to join and stay before game can begin and 40min later Im still waiting.
lots of people hop in and then leave because the game hasnt started and they dont want to wait for 8 others to join because they know it will take a while.

Seems like no one wants to wait for 10 people to join before the game starts.. Why was is it changed from only needing 6 ppl to start?

Also this event may have been more popular if it was ranked Honor CTF and not just Honor CTF.

what are you noticing from the dev side? are you seeing what im seeing or something different?
