Ice Storm ranks

According to everything on the internet, Ice Storm increases the freeze time with each rank. However, in the game it tells me that rank 2 increases the damage only, and not the freeze time. Is this another typo in the game or is the entire internet out of date concerning this skill

I believe it's a 'typo' or this may only pertain to frostbite, not icestorm.

Might have been a mistake in the place your read about this.

The problem with Ice Storm is it's damage range is very erratic. The low end damage doesn't increase, so it's suggested that you don't rank it unless you don't know where else to put your points.

Icestorm is typically used as a set up for firestorm, so most put only one point in it since its actual damage is much lower then firestorm or the combo.

Yeah I think it is a typo. I have Icestorm and Firestorm all at level 6 for the combo. The last time I was on PL I was upgraing my skills after leveling up and I think Frostbite said something about freeze time while Icestorm didn't.
