Although a name cant go into the trade box, if your trading names with a friend you can make money. Technically not a scam but could be one.

Selling alt names could be a scam, yes. Well, the thing is, the person buying the name in the first place has got to give over the gold, so once he has given the seller the gold, the seller could just leave and log out, therefore it is a scam.

If someone is daft enough to fall for that, they deserve to lose their money. Hopefully it will also serve as a learning experience if someone does.
