Is Star Legends Usually So Empty?

I don't see many players at all. Before towns were filled. I started playing the android beta and stopped after L20 or 21. Then I came back a while later and Numa Prime Town was filled. I leveled up a little and stopped playing for a while and now Numa Prime Town is near empty. My point is a long time ago SL was filled with players but now it's empty, there are not many players.

Is it usually like this around this time? I understand people are waiting for new campaign. Just wondering...

I noticed the same thing too. Number of players online stays around 400-600 while PL has 1200-1500.

i feel like its because devs are not taking too much care on SL. I have not seen a single dev since the winter event

Yeah, the lack of a level cap update is the main reason. Everyone who wanted to cap has been capped, and unless they got the market or their guild to keep them going, they've left or taken a break from the game.

It's been too long. The only releases since have been very plat-centric so this is rather uninteresting.

The cap is the main issue, but content in general is what keeps most away.


As was said above, people cap and leave. They grow bored, some pvp some farm. Once they're done with that, they leave.

You wouldn't even have to raise the cap to get players back. Some new legendary drops, new pvp maps, or even PvE maps like from PL (sandstrom, shadow caves, etc.)

If some of these things where implemented, I assure you more people would be back.

I personally, would like new pvp maps. It would increase the fun and it'd be more than "pew pew kill kill, yah I won".

Those numbers are so low its scary. When I started playing, I think I never saw it below 3k on PL.

SL is my favorite video game, and honestly it's dying/dead. We need a new update BAD...and after that we need a steady rhythm of new content and updates. New vanity items are cool and everything, but they can never substitute new levels and a cap raise. I want my SL back. Please STS...help us out here.

Devs appearing in game does not add any long-term reason to play. You see the dev. Maybe got antennas. Probably asked a question (about update lol). Possibly got an answer (update is coming). So what?

Thats usually how it goes. I cant be only playing one game...Thats why I play all 3 STS games. Now from 4k in PL from Popular's post to 1327 In PL from Sajo's post...thats a Large drop since its been out longer and commercials to advertise it. Now SL, thats understandable...and its younger (about to be a year old) and hardly no advertisements.

Yes both games need new updates...but meh, 7 months without an update..all the updates I see are in DL plat items. -_-" I see why the people aren't sticking around.

I find it absolutely pathetic that I have 41 characters with the best equipment plat or creds can buy me and I am still using my level 35 nova and shield. Three months ago when things started dying down there should have been an update to add pinks to voleria. This would have been easy to implement, kept players interested, and increased plat revenue. Instead we don't even have rumors of a content update this means we are still more than a month away if not way longer.

SL is dying and if the devs don't do something soon to bring players back everyone will move on to better games that can support their players with updates. If they don't have time for new dungeons I can understand that but please do something. New loot, elite quests (ex. kill 10k scorn for a vanity), achievements, etc. These all would require minimum effort but would bring life back into the game.

Does anyone have a count for DL? I can't get any of them on my device, but I am willing to bet everyone is there now instead of SL or PL. When new content releases then we will see where everyone winds up.

I love star legends but, I like DL and it is fresh and new. When the SL update happens, I am back and grinding :) until then I have had about enough of running the same maps over and over for the same stuff over and over. DL is my time filler until new SL content and if I get bored with that, maybe, just maybe, I might start a PL game. (i doubt it though it's not my type of game I think. Lol)

I think the counts are unusually low because of DL in between updates this time, but that game is so different, probably most will return to their games once tge newness wears off.
