Hey, guys! I was a little curious about how the profit is decided to donate. Is it only the funds from the shields? Like 50 dollars per every 80 sold? Or based on how much platinum is bought? I would love for a dev answer!

I would guess that it's based on the amount of shields that get sold. It's a little bit more individualized that way - as some people buy plat in bulk :)

We're going to take the gross amount of platinum spent on shields and multiply it by the average value of platinum and donate 50% of the total.

For example if we sold 10,000 shields for 25 plat each the gross amount of platinum would be 250,000.

If the average value of a piece of platinum is $0.15 (because people buy different size packages and acquire it in different ways) then we would multiply 250,000 * 0.15 = $37,500.

We would then donate 1/2 of that to breast cancer research, or .5 * $37,500 = $18,750.

We'll let you know how much we donate at the end of the promotion.
