I remember seeing another thread asking the same question, but i couldnt find it while using search.

I have a asus transformer and i wanted to take some screen shots of my PL gameplay. Also, is it possible to record video of your screen (without a camera ofc)? O.O

also, i dont want to root it. I jailbroke my ipod touch and it pretty much trashed it. Taking up lots of memory and giving me useless crap i really dont need.

Just to put it out there rooting an Android device is waaayyyyy different then jailbraking an apple product and IMO has more benefits.

But....

You can try this.... It is the only screenwriter app I was ever able to get to work on a non rooted Android device. (Samsung Galaxy S2) if this one works then I highly suggest the paid version ;)

I use "no root screen shot it". I paid $5 for it. I just shake my phone and it takes a picture. The pictures go into a file folder on my phone. I can copy them off the phone to my PC using the usb cable, like usual for android files.

You don't need to root your phone. Instead, this give instructions on how to set your phone in debug mode and enable screen shots using your PC and usb cable. If you power off your phone, you have to re-enable the screen shooting. It was a little strange getting it to work at first, but now i'm used to it. I didn't want to root my phone, so I chose this app.

Any free non root screenshot apps out there? csb gave a good one but I'm cheap lol.

Asus transformer has native screen caps. No root required.
