Are legendary items unique?

Can we have more than one of the same legendary item in our stash at the same time or are they "unique" and you can only have one? I ask this question because I'm pretty sure I had an "iceberg titanic hammer" in my stash already, and when I added a 2nd one, I could only go back and find one. I wonder if this is a bug or glitch or something we should have been told in game.

You can stash more than one legendary even if they are the same.

You probably just didn't look carefully. Works well for me, and once you stash an item, it doesn't always appear at the bottom of your stash.

The guys is asking if every legendary item is unique, meaning that there is only one in existence (at least that's what i thought he meant :)). The answer is no. There are many of each legendary item;however, different kinds of legendary items are very vauable :). You will probably only get about 2k for the titanic hammer though :(

I have 7 "iceberg shields" (legendary item) ;)
