Especially since there are achievements that are plat based, making plat an "essential" for achievement completion.

Well in SL 800 plat was $50
And 2000 plat was $90...

In Dl $50 will get you 500 plat...
I don't even want to figure out what 2k plat would be.

Lmao this isn't a question about how much I spend or how much u spend. This is a request for an option to buy and an opportunity for the devs to make some money. If your not interested in 2k option than don't worry about it.

Im proposing that this option be made available for those who do want to purchase and as a courtesy to the devs to make money on their product, so they can keep on keeping on.

Who said I don't want to purchase? lol I only spend $5 so far cuz I didn't know if I'd continue playing, but I'll definitely buy more if I feel like its worth it. But if it's like 200+ dollars for 2k then no way. I'd probably only buy the $50-100 option at the most.

If you care to spend that much money, I assure you there are much better subscription-based MMO's out there. $50 will earn you 4-5 months in most MMO's that provide much more in depth content. I understand paying a little, but spending money for achievement progression when other players can't even view said progression...nor is there any benefit to achievements in the game. Seriously, this is a free MMO paid primarily through advertising.

Where did you get your information? I ask this because it is widely considered here that STS makes their money entirely from plat purchases.
