So, I am curious about the farming of these two. Can anyone give me any tips for doing so? For instance, should I use low lvl character or can I use 66 and Which levels are the best to farm at? Which areas have the best drop rates?!?
Any helpful advice is welcome :)

You can farm both recipes from any boss in forest haven. Your best bet is skeleton cult crypts. And the level you are doesn't matter. Gl. :)

It is actually best in Skeleton Cult Crypts, and is better to use like a level 10 farming toon (buy the 4 item archer pack for 35 platinum for faster killing). I use my level 15 and level 10 farmers to farm anything i have a desire to have ingame.

Level doesn't matter, it's been confirmed.
But if you feel comfortable with a low level then go for it

Well, you must have a 10 to receive lvl 15 items and under, i beleive (correct me if i'm wrong) and yes this is from my experience. I've gotten 2 lvl 5 artisan recipes but never a lvl 15, these recipes were received on my low level. I try so many times on my main, yet i never get them. So i came to reason that i have either a terrible lucking main or that this statement is true.

If you look at any recipe, you'll see they are actually Level 1. So really you can use any level character since they are both the same level. If you use a L10 or under the regular drops you receive in FH will be scaled down to your level or the lowest level the item can scale to. But the recipe's are all lvl 1 so you can use a high lvl as long as you're just hunting the recipes and nothing else. But in the end, it just goes down to what you prefer. :) Happy farming

The reason Skeleton Cult Crypt seems to be the most popular, is because there are 4-6 bosses available right at the spawn. It's easy to join, fight a boss or two, and remake.

I didn't...the 4-6 bosses means Meathead, skellar crunch, 2 trolls from the left room and 2 trolls from the right room.
Oh, you meant super close to spawn area.
Overall there are 3 bosses and 7 trolls.
