Hi gang!

Recently, we’ve heard some complaints from members of the community claiming that players were “scamming” Spacetime Studios Customer Support. To be clear, We verify all logs before granting lost items. We also verify account creation date (must be between April and May of 2010) before doing anything related to Founder's Helms.

I appreciate you clearing the air on this. I know it's a sensitive topic to a lot of people.

I believe the only issue with this solution is that many people feel like contacting support to complain about support may be counterproductive. Would it be in Support's purview to investigate a claim that it may have made an error and then correct it?

Interesting. It seems that in that locked thread people are very certain someone somehow managed to con support into giving them elite vanities. Read Apollo's reply; he said he could provide screen shots to prove it.

Perhaps STS needs to look at these screen shots before making the all is well claim...

Yeah. and I've heard of lots of people who are trading vanities between character. I don't think it should be allowed for one player to donate a vanity to another. The person who earned it... earned it. But I guess this is for people to submit for investigation.

There is no con to get stuff. I'm not going to go into specifics or debate it with you because that's private between us and the account holder. We take issues on a case by case basis. We try to do right by our customers. If you have a concern or something you want help with, we encourage you to please contact us.

I have a question, I know a person who didn't hit 56 but he claimed he was only 3k xp away, so devs gave it to him...aren't you supposed to hit 56 or it's not earnable?

We log everything. Case-by-case review. These folks work their hearts out for you. Closing this one up.
